Honorable chair, dear delegations.
I will begin this speech with a bare statement.
**The world would be more secure if there was a global currency.**
About this statement, dear delegates, I apologize, for this is probably counter-intuitive. I will explain the rationale in time.
But first, to clarify pre-emptively some misconceptions.
The economies of every Member State are already entangled. Having a common currency would solve a myriad of problems, caused by local currency arbitrage, black market and money laundering, to name a few.

A question begs to be answered. What entity shall be in control of minting new currencies? Well, every Member States, of course, through voting. Each eligible Member States get a vote. As it stands, each registered Member State gets a unique access to a voting procedure, that is extremely secure and that is digitally unforgeable. The technical term of what I mean is "non-repudiation". Those who studied corporate law might know what it means. Say, "You voted against a percentage point of the main policy rate?" Then, no parties would be able to deny it. The truth of the vote is forever encoded in the network, accessible to all.

I invite present committee members to see the future as I see it, as it might be. A future where Earth is united behind a single economy. Where each member states has the same weight in the global economic situations. Where we can dive into space, as one.
Thank you.
