( #à/diviser entre plusieurs notes, surtout dans les eras ) [[3. the Gathering Era]] The original beings are from [[Ætheria]]. [[God]]'s soul began clumping and developing Consciousness. The firsts were lonely and wandering, not knowing what they were; too small to know they were of It. When meeting, they didn't feel threatened, they became rapidly allies. Not knowing what to seek either, they wandered, gathering more soul-mass, thus growing in size and strength. Eventually, they became strong enough to learn how to bind themselves to matter. Such magical technology was shunned by some, embraced by others. In this early dynamic, some beings fused, some divided, some bind themselves to matter for exploring the aethereal dimension. [[4. the Great Exile]] Greedy, gluttonous citizens were exiled by being grounded to enough matter to be sent towards [[Materia]]. Those exiles where the first inhabitants of Materia. The process of linking and separating aether-matter and matter costs a lot of energy, and thus were sometimes temporarily irreversible. Some exiles came back, most stayed in Materia. The original exiles are called [[titans]]. They often waged wars between themselves to eat and gain aether-mass. At their peak, they were tens of thousands of them. As they warred, some [[titans]] died and remains were getting dispersed. Thus, a lot of soul-mass linked to matter spread on the surface of Materia. Minuscule life forms emerged. Germs, microbes then algaes. Small bugs that can crawl through matter and aether. Titans' remains became ecological nests. [[5. the War on Titans]] Some [[titans]], when amassing enough soul-mass, came back to [[Ætheria|Aetheria]] to get vengeance. [[the Ætherian people|Aetherians]], now much more stable and looking like an orderly society of laws and stability, declared war on the [[titans]]. They created their own gigantic souls: [[giants]], and sent them on conquest. Their mission: exterminate titans. They eliminated all of them but [[titans#the source of all demons|one]], that was hidden between [[Ætheria]] and [[Materia]], scheming and waiting. The War on Titans thus ended. [[6. the First Wave Era]] The giants remaining in [[Materia]] realized the ecological creations that emerged. The few hundred giants that remained decided to nurture and add to this new world. They spread the remains of titans under the Sun, and created an ecological region that spanned half the world. Some giants binded, then divided themselves to form new life forms: the first wave of sentient humanoids. In the beginning, they expreimented with their shapes and the shapes of creatures from [[Materia]]: Fairies, Hadozees, Harengons, Bugbears, Hobgoblins, Kenkus, Kobolds, Leonins, Lizardfolks, Minautors, Owlins, Satyrs, Tabaxis, Tortles, Tritons, Centaurs. The few remaining giants banded together to send messengers back to [[Ætheria]]. One of them went missing on the way back. Of the three remaining messengers, they taught the [[the Ætherian people|Aetherians]] about their mission and all that transpired in [[Materia]] and in between. The High Council reflected on this, and sent back another wave of giants: most of them would divide to form the remaining species, and the remaining giants were to supervise and protect this new world from the unseen threat that caught the missing messenger. [[7. the Second Wave Era]] The second wave of new sentient species were more orderly: Arakocras, Dragonbors, Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, Humans, Halflings, Orcs, Loxodons. They gave them some distance between each of them, different characteristics, different creational stories and religions, and set them free. [[giants|Giants]] remained in the eternal darkness, far from their creations, watching over them, scouting the aethereal dimension regularly.
